Supervision
As a qualified supervisor and an experienced teacher and trainer I enjoy helping others to reflect on their practice and develop their work. I offer supervision to therapists, group analysts and others in the health care professions.
Individual supervision
As a supervisor I offer you a supportive and nurturing space to think closely about your work and your development as a therapist. I offer weekly, fortnightly and monthly clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists and group-analysts.
Group supervision
Sharing a supervisory space with other practitioners allows you the opportunity to be a supervisor to others and to have a space to reflect with others on your own work. Group supervision can be a creative and supportive way to develop your work and expand your ideas. I run fortnightly or monthly groups. If you are interested in joining a group, or would like to have supervision with a group of your colleagues, please get in touch.
Thursday morning supervision group meets weekly from 9.00 – 10.30.
Friday morning supervision group meets fortnightly from 10.30 – 12.
Reflective practice groups
A monthly Reflective Practice Group meets on Friday afternoons from 3 – 5pm.
Balint groups for doctors and other health professionals
Balint Groups were initiated in the 1960s by the psychoanalyst Michael Balint to offer a space for GPS to reflect on their relationships with their patients. These groups provide invaluable support, and a space for ongoing professional learning and development.
I currently run one monthly group:
This group for GPs has been running for 15 years. It meets online on Thursday evenings from 7.30 – 9pm.
For further information or to enquire about joining one of these groups please contact me by phone or email (see contacts page).
