About me

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist and a group analyst. I trained at the Isis Centre in Oxford and at the Turvey Institute of Group-Analytic Psychotherapy in Bedfordshire and have been practising as a therapist and counsellor for over twenty years. I have worked in schools and GP Practices and for many years was the Practice Counsellor at Deddington Health Centre and the White House Surgery, Chipping Norton.

I now run a private therapy practice from my home in Charlbury, working with individuals and groups. I am also a qualified supervisor and offer clinical supervision to counsellors, therapists, psychologists and other health professionals. I have a special interest in facilitating reflective practice groups for doctors – known as ‘Balint Groups’  and have run staff groups for Oxfordshire County Council, for a therapeutic gardening community, and for a charity working with the homeless.

I am an active teacher and trainer and was a tutor on Psychodynamic Studies programme at the University of Oxford for 12 years. I currently teach on the Oxford Foundation Course in Group Analysis, and I am a member of the staff team on the Foundation and Qualifying Courses in Group Analysis in Tirana, Albania
